Owl calls in Bratislava forests

We have prepared a special walk for English speakers. This walk will take place on Thursday, February 25th, 2016. Meeting place, time and route will be the same.

an evening bird walk

Do you want to know what can you hear in the forests around Bratislava at night? Which species of owls do live here and what do their calls mean? Come with us and find out!

Meeting place and time: 7:30 pm at public bus stop Patrónka in direction from the city center. We will take bus #43 at 7:40 pm. Drivers can park their cars at the parking place near Partizánska lúka and get on the same bus at the stop Červený most (7:42 pm). Return journey by bus at 9:00 pm (8:55 pm on Sunday).

Route: easy, the route is approx. 1,5 km long. It can be prolonged to 5 km track.

Participant fee optional.

This event is also suitable for participants with children.

In case of bad weather we will keep you posted about the possible cancellation of the walk both on our website and our Facebook page in the evening before the walk. The walk is automatically cancelled in case the Slovak hydrometeorological institute issues a warning for that day. New date will be posted shortly afterwards.
