bicycle birdwatching  trip C3

This bike trip will lead us to hills. Attention will be paid to forest species of birds. From Partizánska lúka we will head towards Kačín through an area with the occurrence of many interesting bird species. From Kačín we will continue to the Biely kríž and than past Železná studnička back to the Partizánska lúka. We will observe also birds in a group of conifers, where Firecrests and Goldcrests occur. We will meet birds living near human settlements – Greenfinches, Serins, and White Wagtails. Near streams we will see Grey Wagtails. And of course we will see forest forest birds such as woodpeckers, Treecreepers, Nuthatches, Chaffinches, warblers, Collared Flycatchers, tits, thrushes, Robins and Wrens. In some beech stands maybe we will be lucky enough to spot rare Red-breasted Flycatcher or White-backed Woodpecker. Among larger birds, we assume that Wood Pigeon, Buzzard or a Raven will fly over our heads.
