Short courses on bird calls at Železná studnička

Wheather will be not good ccourse will be only 10:00 am. 

This courses will be in Slovak language. Course in English language will take a part on Saturday at 3 pm.

Also this year we continue organizing short courses on bird calls in a beautiful environment of Železná studnička in Bratislava. During one weekend and one Saturday we will carry out 4 approximately one hour long walks each day focused on the calls of the most common birds living in the forests of Small Carpathians.

Meeting place: Železná studnička, the area of former buffets “Rotunda”, near the turn to Kačín, public bus stop # 43 “Železná studnička” – map.

Approximately 1-hour courses start each day at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Course in English language will take a part on Saturday at 3 pm.

Participant fee optional. Recommended fee: 3,50 € / person; 1,50 € / child

You do not need to sign up for this course, just come.

We provide binoculars, bird identification guide and a spotting scope to the participants.

This event is also suitable for participants with children.

In case of bad weather we will keep you posted about the possible cancellation of the walk both on our website and our Facebook page in the evening before the walk. The walk is automatically cancelled in case the Slovak hydrometeorological institute issues a warning for that day.
